The “ABU Robocon 2025 Ulaanbaatar” took place from August 22-26, gathering teams from across Asia and Pacific to compete in engineering skills, creativity, and teamwork. The tournament unfolded in three stages: Zone Defense, Quarterfinals, and the Knockout Stage, leading to a thrilling finale.

Zone Defense Stage

Teams were divided into zones, where they battled for a place in the quarterfinals.

  • Japan and Cambodia stood out with two wins each.

  • Vietnam, Mongolia 1, Hong Kong, Mongolia 2, Malaysia, and Indonesia secured key victories.

  • Teams such as Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Fiji were unable to advance further.

In the end, Japan claimed the championship title, defeating Hong Kong, China in the final. Hong Kong, China secured the 1st runner-up position after an impressive run, while Vietnam and Mongolia 2 finished as strong 2nd runner-ups, showcasing remarkable talent and innovation throughout the competition.
